ALI JOSÉ RUIZ

Ali Jose Ruiz has over 19 years of experience in the oil industry, specializing in executing enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects. He has participated in the coordination, supervision, operation, and quality assurance (specifically regarding functionality and implementation) for steam injection projects. Ruiz also has a strong understanding of water control and treatment for steam injection, integral risk system application, and operational logistics.

Over the years, Ruiz has gained experience in operating and beginning heavy crude oil EOR pilot projects (CSS, SAGD, SW-SAGD, HUFF & PUFF, and ICV), also helping coordinate integrated risk systems. Before joining the company, he served as the Operations Supervisor at PDVSA – Orinoco Oil Belt Steam Plants.
