Nakasawa – PetroChina Karamay Field Visit

During the third quarter of 2019 Nakasawa visited China’s largest heavy oil fields in Karamay, Xinjiang Province. The location is where the two (2) 60MMBTU Steam Generators equipped with Nakasawa’s patented Super Matroid Heater for PetroChina Xinjiang are currently working successfully.
The results of the Super Matroid Heater speak for themselves, with lower required treated water, lower burner fuel consumption, producing higher steam quality (up to 95%) to be injected into the oil reservoir that translates into even higher increased production than standard steam injection methods. All of this without the need for any auxiliary heat exchangers or other external equipment.
