Oil India Limited field operations

We continue to reap success as a company, this time the good news comes from Nakasawa India Private Limited. Since June 8th, 2022, our team of experts are in the Rajasthan oil field, working on the Cyclic Steam Stimulation Operation (CSS) project for Oil India Limited.

Currently, our Super Matroid technology is on site and in the process of operational preparations to boost the growth and performance of the Baghewala oilfield in Rajasthan. A key aspect of this involves the configuration and connection of equipment to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition systems, more commonly referred to as SCADA. In this way, operating parameters can be optimized, alarm conditions can be defined and planned reactions can be planned.

The technical team is also conducting hydrostatic, pressure, and flow tests to obtain IBR certification, which quantifies risk in order to make informed decisions on how, where and when to inspect assets. In India, IBR certification regulates the design, manufacture, and inspection of any boiler. The steam generator is an energy intensive piece of equipment, and its proper design and inspection compromises both safety and life risk.

Nakasawa Resources appoints new CEO for the Americas, Asia and Middle East regions

MIAMI, Fla., Jan 19th, 2022 – Nakasawa Resources, a leading upstream technology company focused on the development of global oil and gas production, announced today that Jose David Molina has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of the company. Molina will succeed Jose Wilfredo Molina and continue guiding the company to deliver premier services and results to its clients through high-quality standards and efficiency-oriented innovations in the oil and gas sector.

Jose David Molina has more than 10 years of experience in finance, specializing in strategic financial management for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) projects. Prior to his new appointment, he held the role of vice president of finance, where he was responsible for Nakasawa Resources’ overall financial operations and programmatic support to the organization. Throughout his career, he has led and executed thermal enhanced oil recovery (TEOR) projects in the United States, Latin America, Canada, the Middle East and Asia.

“In his years working at Nakasawa Resources, Jose David has demonstrated his commitment and vast knowledge of the company. His track-record of successful financial strategy implementation and entrepreneurial attitude is exactly what we need to continue driving the business forward,” said Jose Wilfredo Molina, who will step down as CEO and continue to serve in the company as Founder and Chairman. “It brings me joy to know that my son will continue the Molina legacy and take over my role, as I am confident he will ensure our clients continue thriving through our latest innovations and services.”

Nakasawa Resources was founded in 2001 by Jose Wilfredo Molina, and since its inception, the company has focused on providing innovative upstream technology solutions that reduce negative environmental impacts. The organization is committed to maximizing production in heavy oil fields, develop unique engineering designs and providing high-quality technology such as its thermal enhanced oil recovery (TEOR) systems, the Super Matroid Heater (SMH) and Super Matroid Cyclone (SMC), which are designed to optimize oil production from existing wells and increase profitability while reducing the environmental impact of conventional technologies.

“I am honored to step into this new role and spearhead the organization’s growth and expansion to continue providing clients with some of the industry’s most innovative EOR systems and services,” stated Jose David Molina, Nakasawa Resources’ newly appointed CEO. “Our utmost priority continues to be to drive innovation in the oil and gas industry, not only to deliver optimal performance and cost-effective results to our clients, but to set the premise for more environmentally-friendly practices able to adapt to the sector’s changing landscape.”

About Nakasawa Resources

Nakasawa Resources, founded in 2001, is a global leader in upstream oil and gas production technologies. Since its foundation, the company has been guided by one fundamental principle: Efficiency. Nakasawa is committed to generating profitable results through the design, development, and manufacture of innovative technologies, which has allowed it to successfully manage large-scale projects from design to completion and maintenance.

Hart Energy | EOR Advances: Efficiency, Sustainability and the Future of Oil & Gas

The global trend toward environmentalism has created a growing need for sustainable, cost-effective EOR solutions that can help companies maintain their social license to operate, but few solutions yet satisfy these demands.

Nakasawa Resources found an efficient, profitable solution for thermal EOR (TEOR) in heavy crude oil wells with its Super Matroid Heater (SMH) and Super Matroid Cyclone (SMC), which significantly enhance oil recovery from existing wells. Both were designed with a strong emphasis on efficiency, because Nakasawa Resources believes a “waste not, want not” attitude will be key to ensuring a future for the oil and gas industry, especially as drilling new wells becomes increasingly unpopular among public opinion.

The SMH and SMC leverage their highly efficient steam production technology to significantly boost oil recovery, greatly reduce feedwater usage, increase heat transmission and minimize operating time, all of which work together to maximize profits. Automation and digitization also play an important role here, allowing users to monitor variables and execute commands remotely and in real time through a centralized panel as well as providing the system with the ability to make immediate adjustments to ensure no time goes to waste.

Furthermore, the solutions are designed to be highly corrosion-resistant (using a chrome and molybdenum alloy) and fully mobile, making them much hardier and easier to move between injection points or over roads—another important aspect for enhancing sustainability, as it prevents the need for costly construction and removal projects.

The SMH and SMC’s results have shown a 315% increase in oil production for wells using this technology. Its high-quality steam (over 95% dry) enhances heat transfer and helps extract every drop of oil available in a well. As there are millions of barrels of oil left in existing wells that have historically been unreachable, this advancement could help prevent the need to drill as many additional wells by using the tremendous volume Nakasawa has already found.

More efficient and sustainable TEOR technologies are very important to ensuring the continued health of the industry. Through advances like these, the increasing energy demands in the years to come can be met.
